The Blindboy Podcast (2017-Current)

Hosted by Blindboyboatclub of RubberBandits the Blindboy Podcast is a weekly podcast available on iTunes and Acast podcast services that covers a wide variety of subjects including Mental Health, Psychology, Music History, Art History, Irish History and Politics. Each episode is usually delivered exclusively by Blindboy by way of an audio fidelity style that he has coined 'a podcast hug'. Later episodes feature live recorded interviews[1] with prominent Irish writers such as Kevin Barry [2], journalists and historians amongst others. The podcast is funded by the having previously experienced difficulty finding a sponsor [3]. The podcast was No.1 the podcast chart for it's first 17 episodes [4] [5] although perhaps due to the nature of the content finding a regular sponsor has proved somewhat difficult [6] Blindboy does not seem to mind much.
