From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

'Blood's A Rover' is a Scottish feature film written, edited and directed by Tim Fraser-Granados. The film combines neo noir and suspense with elements of horror and political intrigue. It is Fraser-Granados's debut feature and the first feature to be released by the independent Scottish production company Barrie Pictures.

Plot[edit]

Detective Chief Inspector David Boyd (Cameron Brown) is haunted by the unsolved murder of his father in 2012 when a new case in 2017 leads him to suspect that there may be links to the earlier crime. Eileen Ballantyne (Jacqueline Gilbride), married to millionaire landowner Henry Ballantyne, is well-liked in her community as a kind and generous woman doing charity work for worthy causes. A turn of events forces her to confront a secret from her past that she doesn't want anyone to know about. Psychiatrist Alan Torrance (George McWilliam) has been leading a good life too, until the death of a patient in his street draws him into a murder investigation. Blair Eadie (Gordon Holliday) is a loner who falls in love with Eileen's daughter Kerri but he too is haunted by his past. As the film progresses, the lives of these four characters unravel in a labyrinthine plot of murder, blackmail and political conspiracy.
