Plot[edit]

Dan and his wife Annie run a restaurant in London. When Annie is mysteriously murdered by an unseen figure, Matt gives up the restaurant to his friend Ryan and embarks on a life as a vegetarian restaurant critic to the chagrin of his PR man Mike. Feeling lonely, he begins online-dating at the suggestion of Ryan and he eventually meets Callie, a young woman who runs a guesthouse on an island on the English coast. After a short amount of time exchanging messages online he receives a mysterious text from Callie asking him to come to the island. Dan takes a ferry and is greeted on the island by Darius who takes him via taxi to the guesthouse. When he arrives at the guesthouse he is greeted by Callie's sisters, Lydia and Tess whom he was unaware existed. It transpires that Lydia sent Matt the text message and not Callie. Lydia encourages him to stay even though Callie appears apprehensive.

At the guesthouse Dan meets a music band, Lennie, her brother Ethan and Stella who had been staying on the island to rehearse. He has a brief conversation with Lennie who tells him that all their stuff has been nicked and their car engine has been tampered with but that Callie has put them up for free till they sort themselves out. Later, Tess is seen stalking and killing another guest, Victor, who had earlier been flirting with Callie in the gardens. The guests start disappearing one by one and it's later revealed that Tess is stalking and killing them all, bringing them to the slaughterhouse situated on site and hacking their bodies up, presumably to serve to their newer guests. Later Lydia tells Tess that something must be done about Callie as she is not happy on the island with them and wants to leave with Dan so Tess goes to see Callie on the cliffs and tells her that she is no different from her sisters and that if she goes the sisters will all die. After a while Ryan turns up after receiving a text message from Dan, however once again Matt suspects that Lydia sent the message from his phone and reveals to Ryan that something isn't right.

In the evening Lennie, Stella and Ethan are smoking weed with Callie in the guest cottage when Callie leaves after Ethan scares her. Later after falling asleep after drinking a concuction she feeds to visitors, they awake where they are ambushed by Tess who comes in to kill them all. Ethan tries to run chased by Tess but is killed by her. Out of nowhere Callie appears and fights with Tess over the killings. She knocks Tess out and runs. Meanwhile Lydia is hosting a dinner for Dan, Ryan and an elderly couple, serving them up what she says is " one of their finest calves". Halfway through the meal an hysterical Lennie runs in telling everyone that her band mates have been killed and she is being hunted. Ryan and Dan are disturbed and rush out. Noticing that Callie isn't around Dan starts to get anxious, however Ryan says they should just get out of the island now. After an argument Ryan storms out and leaves to go home but is frozen in horror when he sees the mutilated bodies of other guests strewn around the lawns. His demise is unknown however.

At Tess's lair in the slaughterhouse Darius is pleading with Tess to forgive him and apologizes for bringing her Stella as a gift, who is tied up and has just been assaulted by him. Tess is angry kills him and drags him off to eat him. Meanwhile Matt goes to look for Callie and finds the dead bodies of the other guests which lead him to Tess's lair where he finds Stella awaiting to be killed. Just as he unties Stella he is ambushed by a rabid Tess and is repeatedly stabbed and beaten to the ground. She reveals that he is just a dream to Callie and as he lies broken on the floor Callie and Lydia enter. Callie begins to sing her Siren song and it transpires that in a blind rage he killed his wife but was knocked out by Ryan who covered up the killing and manipulated Dan into giving him the restaurant. Since the sirens lure those who have caused pain to the island to be devoured, he is no different and he is stabbed in the heart by Callie. The camera then pans back to the empty guesthouse.

The only guest to survive the ordeal is Stella who on escaping Tess has driven off in Darius's taxi driving to the ferry port with a mixture of relief and terror.
