Boatbumpers.io

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Among the growing trend of .io games this game stands out as one of the few true games that represents what the online movement is truly trying to get at.

Game[edit]

This game starts out like many of the .io games and starts with you picking a name and a color for your boat. You can choose any name and there is a 30 character word limit.Following this you lead into a screen filled with blue grid lines and your boat is there too. The objective is to collect the highest score out of the lobby you are in. Between 9am and 12pm are the prime times to play with the highest amount of people in your lobby. The way to achieve this score is by collecting the floating beach balls and buoys. While attempting to collect thes you also have to fend off other players.

Multiplayer part[edit]

So collecting all of these floating items to gain a high score may sound pretty boring but at the same time you also have to fend off other players who can see your onscreen name and try and hunt you down. A battle will happen when another player rams into another players boat. The boat with the faster speed (speed can be accumulated over time) will do damage to the other person based on the amount of speed in comparison. Max speed can be accumulated after 20 seconds of not hitting any obstacles

Market[edit]

Now many people are not exactly drawn to the fact of a simple game that revolves around boats bumping into each other but the main draw with this game is its accessibility. Of course the target audience is kids so what better way to get kids playing than to provide the game when they want it most at school. All .io games are made through google sites and these are not able to be blocked very easily by the administration at schools because they can not block google but have to find the actual game address and prevent communication between the server and the school's computers.
