Brendan Mertens
Brendan Mertens is a Canadian filmmaker from Peterborough, Ontario. At the age of 6, Brendan discovered his love for films and film making after watching what would become his favorite film, Ghostbusters.
A graduate of the film program at Loyalist College, he mastered his craft by working up from camera man, to stunt co-coordinator and then to extra on the big budget horror sequel Urban Legend 2: Final Cut.
In 2016 he directed Ghostheads as well as acting producer for Not For Resale in 2017. Brendan's feature as director, producer and editor; The Mike Stand (2018) is a documentary centred around Canadian comedian Mike MacDonald and his journey through stand up comedy.
