British Forces Eastern Europe

During August 2016 it was announced that 650 soldiers of the British Army will be deployed on an enduring basis in Eastern Europe mainly Estonia with some in Poland.[1]

500 personnel from an battalion will be stationed in Estonia[1] supported by a company each from Denmark and France.[2]

Another 150 personnel will be stationed in Poland mainly to train local forces.[2]
