Centogene (NYSE: CNTG) is a global biotechnology company founded in Rostock, Germany with further offices in Berlin, Germany as well as Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is one of the world’s largest genetic biotech companies,[1] focused on developing and providing genetic testing to diagnose rare disease[2] patients and support orphan drug development alongside its pharmaceutical partners.[3]

Structure[edit]

Centogene has approximately 450 employees covering over 55 nationalities and more than 39 pharmaceutical partners. The officers of the company are Prof. Arndt Rolfs (Founder and CEO), Dirk Ehlers (Chief Operating Officer), Prof. Peter Bauer (Chief Genomic Officer), Richard Stoffelen (Chief Financial Officer),[4] Volkmar Weckesser (Chief Information Officer), Oved Amitay (Chief Business Officer), Sun Kim (Chief Strategy & Investor Relations Officer), Philip Lambert (Chief Scientific Officer), and Dr. Vaibhav Joshi (Chief Data Officer).[5]
