COSI-Corr[edit]

Co-registration of Optically Sensed Images and Correlation or COSI-Corr is a software developed by François Ayoub, Sébastien Leprince, and Jean-Philippe Avouac that can perform sub pixel correlation of optical image.[1]. Furthermore, It has the capability to perform precise orthorectification , images co-registration, and most importantly image correlation.

Methodology[edit]

The sub-pixel correlation finds the horizontal displacement where ground deformation have occurred. The relative displacement between two similar overlapping (co-registered) images is estimated by the phase plane in the Fourier domain and that displacement can be derivative of the phase difference of Fourier transform[2]. This method is focused on pushbroom satellite imaging system [3]
