Ayeyarwady Center is a temporary treatment center for covid-19 positive people which is built within 7 days in Yangon. COVID-19 reported cases have accelerated quickly in Yangon, Myanmar's largest city from the first week of September, threatening to overwhelm the city's hospitals and treatment centers. The center is built by Ayeyarwady Foundation, the philanthropic arm of tycoon Zaw Zaw. Ministry of Health and Sport assigned a team of 100 healthcare professionals and volunteers to run the site.
