Campus Outreach

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Campus Outreach is a interdenominational Christian college ministry started in 1978 by two Alabama church pastors named Tom Caradine and Curtis Tanner with a methodological emphasis on personal evangelism, discipleship, and the Word and Prayer.[1]

History[edit]

Campus Outreach was started in Birmingham, Alabama and launched its first franchise to Augusta, Georgia in 1989 about ten years after its start before one year later starting its first international branch in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Campus Outreach founders believed that each local franchise should be based out of a local Church without respect to a specific denomination. Before the year 2000 Campus Outreach had seven more franchises in the USA and abroad.[2]

Today Campus Outreach has over 37 franchises in many different countries and continues to grow.
