Capel Newydd, Betws

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Capel Newydd is a Welsh Calvinistic Methodist chapel on Betws Road in Betws, Ammanford with its name literally translating as New Chapel (a popular name throughout Wales), built in 1898[1]. The chapel hosts regular Sunday morning services for a small congregation and previously ran a Sunday School in the vestry. Not directly adjacant is a small graveyard further down the road.

Music and Liturgy[edit]

Services including communion typically include sung hymns, previously accompanied by a now-defunct pneumatic-action pipe organ. An electronic organ is currently used, with a piano also present.
