CarLive Chain is currently an ERC20 token based on Ethereum network. With the goal of becoming an automotive social blockchain eco-community, CarLive Chain claims to return the equity of behaviour big data to users through blockchain technology, setting up transparent, reliable and prosperous Internet of Vehicle commercial system as well as constructing a robust blockchain.[1]

CarLive Chain was founded in January 2018 and managed by AUH Foundation, Singapore.[2] The team includes former executive of Alibaba, senior member of IEEE, former chief researcher of Microsoft Asian Research Institute, former vice president of JP Morgan New York and other members from universities.[3]

ERC20 Token[edit]

As of June 8, 2018, the project is at its infancy, with deployment of token as a start before deploying their own blockchain. The total fixed supply of the 10 billion (10,000,000,000) IOV token was created on May 11, 2018.

The distribution of the token is 10% to cornerstone investor from private sale, 25% to strategic investor and community sale, 35% to technical team and early contributor, and the rest, 30% as community incentives[4] in the form of mining (loyalty program) through the Ayocar app of YUTU.[5] As of April 18, 2018, CarLive Chain community completes the first stage of mining application private test with 83602 users obtaining said token (IOV).[6]

Partnership[edit]

YUTU is among one of the notable strategic partners of CarLive Chain that joined on February 5, 2018.[7] YUTU owns a social media platform, Ayocar, that also focuses on automotive, integrated with livestreaming service and internet celebrity in a similar way to Twitch.[8] YUTU owns a B2C and O2O online commercial platform, YUTU Premium[9], a platform similar to Amazon, that focuses on selling products related to automotive, as well as improving car usage experience by introducing targeted solution.[10] YUTU cooperates with China University of Technology and National University of Singapore on research using big data, as well as actively involved in training internet celebrity to better engage with customer.[11][12] On January 22, 2018, YUTU announced that they will invest 500 million RMB into researching car life ecosystem and blockchain integration.[13]
