From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Catherine Goldschmidt is an American Cinematographer. She was born in California, but raised in New Jersey by her parents, a therapist and a mathematician. Catherine got her BA from Wesleyan University in 2005 and her MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute in 2009. Catherine now lives in London where she co-founded illuminatrix, a collective of female cinematographers in the UK, along with cinematographer Vanessa Whyte. Since school Catherine has worked on features, documentaries, shorts, music videos and commercials, but no matter the project she says her work is always cinematically story driven. She has been the cinematographer for 8 feature length narrative films and has shot on high profile documentaries such as the Netflix series Abstract: The Art of Design and the Academy Award-winning feature 20 Feet from Stardom. She was also one of eight women in 2018 to be chosen for 21st Century Fox's inaugural Fox DP Lab, which introduced female cinematographers, all graduates of the American Film Institute, to Fox producers, directors, creative and production executives, and agents to help them network and build their careers.
