Celine Abecassis-Moedas
Celine Dora Judith Abecassis-Moedas is an academic specialized in Strategy and Innovation and has over 18 years of experience working with corporations (consulting, teaching, executive education and sitting at boards).
Early life[edit]
Celine holds a Ph.D. in Management from École Polytechnique, Paris, and a M.A. in Management from Université Paris Dauphine. She is graduated from École Normale Supérieure de Cachan and La Sorbonne in Economics and Management.[1]
Celine's career started on 1996 at France Telecom R&D where during three years occupied the Research Assistant position. After three years at France Telecom R&D, Celine worked at Lectra in New York for a year, as an E-business product manager.[2]
From 2000 to 2002, worked as a Consultant at AT Kearney in London where supported, analyzed and developed strategies for different markets.[2] From 2002 onwards, Celine started her career as an academic, initially at the Centre for Business Managament-Queen Mary-University of London as an Assistant Professor in Strategic Management, and then moved to Catolica Lisbon School of Business and Economics on 2005, where remains.[3] At CLSBE, Celine started as a Researcher and Teacher in Strategy, Consulting, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Teacher in the undergraduate, MSc, The LisbonMBA, Executive education programs and Coordinator of the MSc in Strategy&Entrepreneurship, MSc in Innovation&Technology and Executive Program in Management of Luxury Products&Services. On 2014 was the Academic Director of the International MSc in Management.[1][4]
Meanwhile, from April until August 2011, Celine worked at MIT Sloan School of Management [5] as an International Faculty Fellow, where taught and co-taught in the MBA program; Analyzed the MIT Sloan's Innovative Lab Initiative and presented at Action Learning Conference, MIT Sloan, and Researched on the field of Entrepreneurship.
