Charlotte Pourret Wythe

Charlotte Pourret Wythe (born 28 March 2005) is a British actress, singer and dancer,[1] best known for performing as Lily Luna Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in 2018 at the Palace Theatre in the West End, in Billy Elliot the Musical in 2015–16 in the West End, and in a UK and Ireland tour of Annie in 2019. She also appeared in the musical The House of Mirrors and Hearts at the Arcola Theatre in London in 2015.

Early life[edit]

Her father is composer and lyricist Laurence Mark Wythe, and her sister is actress Sophie Pourret Wythe, who has appeared in Shrek, The Sound of Music and Oliver! in the West End. Her mother owns and runs a theatre school. She began dancing at the age of two and has grown up in London.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

Her professional stage debut was as Young Lily in 2015 in the musical The House of Mirrors and Hearts at the off-West End Arcola Theatre.[2][3] In 2014 she had recorded the demo of the show and appeared in a workshop presentation at the Tristan Bates Theatre.[citation needed]

She was a replacement player in Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre in 2016–2017.[4]

She took over the role of Lily Luna Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in 2018 at the Palace Theatre, London, where she played the role for six months. In early 2019, she recorded the role of Young Rhiannon in The Sheep Chronicles featuring actor Colin Salmon.[citation needed]

During 2019, she performed in Annie in the role of Pepper during the year-long tour of the UK and Ireland.[5] She also performed in pantomime at the Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks.[5]
