In a column discussing one of his latest works, Heliopause Magazine reported:
"Chris believes that art remains as a strong contender of how we share our thoughts and ideas and the use of materials in his work is always calculated. He is often looking for avenues of the unexpected, with an ironic twist to images or things you might expect."[1]
Mediahard.com reports and quotes Davis saying, "The use of materials in my work is always calculated. I am often looking for avenues of the unexpected, with an ironic twist to images or things you might expect.. Or their combinations. Provoking a participant to new and perhaps unexplored territory is my objective."[2]
