Christi Lynn "Ashley" Landrito McGarry graduated Valedictorian from the grammar school Our Lady of Victories in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was president of the student body and captain of the girls’ basketball team; She attended the Dr. Ronald McNair Academic High School, the No. 1 academically ranked high school in the State of New Jersey and the 27th in the whole country, where she was a four-year varsity starter and MVP for her high school girl’s volleyball and basketball teams, Ashley was also Miss Teen Philippines-USA sponsored by Nena Kaufman’s Philippine Hearts and Hopes Society. In 2006, she served as an ambassadress from the US to help needy children in Bohol.
Mutya ng Pilipinas 2010[edit]
Ashley competed at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2010 pageant on Aug. 28th and won one of the three titles at stake as Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific 2010 together with co-winners, Carla Jenina Cabrera Lizardo, Mutya ng Pilipinas Intercontinental 2010 and Barbara dela Rosa Salvador, Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International 2010. Carla who was the official Mutya ng Pilipinas Intercontinental titleholder could not compete at Miss Intercontinental 2010 due to a family situation and had to be filled in by Ashley who was Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific winner. Miss Asia Pacific International has not been held in the last 5 years.[1]
Miss Intercontinental 2010[edit]
She placed Top 15 and chosen as Continental Queen of Asia and Pacific at the Miss Intercontinental 2010 pageant on November 7, 2010 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.[2]
