Christian J. Smith, also known by his online alias Mr. Frost, is a foreign exchange market (forex) trader, entrepreneur, and the founder of the brand FrostFXTheMarketMasters.[1][2] He gained recognition as one of the youngest successful traders in the industry by the age of 20 years old.[3] Christian is the founder of FrostFX, a trading community and visual effects company.

Christian became famous for his genius in the forex market, notable for his educational platform. He was named a Top 10 Entrepreneur in 2020 by Yahoo Finance, and gained recognition as one of the youngest most successful forex traders in the industry. His brand, FrostFXTheMarketMasters has been hailed by his students, and gained worldwide notoriety. A brand which he founded in 2017, Christian has always focused on trading Gold in the groups that he runs, with students sharing trading testimonials of up to $48,000 in a week, to say the least. Christian is known to make huge angel investments in the blockchain space, with early investments in Bitcoin that supposedly put his net worth upwards of $49 million dollars at the age of 22. Smith is also an award-winning executive producer. He is a visual effects producer known for the movies Avengers: End Game (2019), The Room (2019), Alita: Battle Angel (2019), and What Happened To Monday (2017). He worked on The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018). Smith graduated from the Roman Catholic Mount Saint Michael Academy, where he then went on to study business and finance at Iona College (New York). His work has been featured in films such as The Spy Who Dumped Me. He is perhaps best known for founding the film company and trading community FrostFX.

Christian is an author of the book "The Secret Goldfish" which he published on February 7, 2022.

He is also a pioneer of a movement he calls “Monk Mode”, in which he was interviewed on January 1, 2020. Christian also has an early career in music production dating back to 2012, including film and animation and various art portfolios.

Smith was born in The Bronx, New York.He started his journey by reselling retail items for a profit, reportedly making up to $721 dollars in a week in junior high school. Before he had any money, Smith went around his school begging people for a dollar so that he could buy an educational course on stocks, forex, and real estate.[4] He worked his first part time job and began trading the summer of 2017.[3][5]

Smith graduated from the Roman Catholic Mount Saint Michael Academy, where he then went on to study business and finance at Iona College (New York). After a brief three months in college, he dropped out to pursue trading and entrepreneurship full time. He built his own educational platform and community called FrostFXTheMarketMasters, where people learn how to trade in the forex market.[2][3]

At 19 years old, he made an average of $25,000 per month as a trader.[6] In 2019, Smith was included on Yahoo! Finance's "Top 10" list of Entrepreneurs To Watch Out For in 2020.[4][6]
