Chums is a privately owned, independent Mail Order Company based in a 60.000 square foot unit in the Knowsley Business Park.

Chums was founded by Graham Rubin in 1981 after 10 years’ experience in the manufacture of trousers. Chums started by selling men's trousers direct to the public by off the page advertisements in national newspapers and magazines. They then innovated their own in-house catalogue using the increasing database of customers that where recruited over time to grow a full menswear range. After the success of the menswear collection, Chums diversed into Ladieswear in 1992. In 2004 Chums introduced a new collection of household textiles and innovative products which included bathroom and bedroom essentials as well as mobility solutions.
Chums launched it’s website in 2002 and has seen a big growth off the back of this.[1]
Pegasus menswear was launched September 2015 targeted to customers aged 50 and over.[2]

Chums Showroom is located at Unity Grove, Knowsley Business Park, Liverpool, L34 9AR. There are 50 unmanned concessions based in mills such as Boundary mill, Tweed Mill and Ena Mill.
