Cinemaa Zindabad is a (2022) Indian drama film. CINEMAA ZINDABAD is an Indian, Hindi language film with an ensemble cast that shows the struggles of a group of artists & a Film Director & their journey in the Film Industry showing their personal life too, from their happy, lighter moments to their serious, sad, heart-touching experiences. This film has an important prominent character of an aspiring director played by Rajpal Yadav who tries hard to make & release his 1st Film & to get the recognition that he deserves as an Independent Director. This film is Directed & Produced by talented Debutant Filmmaker AJAY KAILASH YADAV. The Ensemble Cast of the Film includes Rajpal Yadav, Mukesh Bhatt, Pankaj Berry, Ranjeet Bedi, Maushmi Udeshi, Hemin Patel, Pinel Babu, Swapnil Jharbade, Wiam Dahmani, Amrita Dhanoa & Alpesh Vaghela.

The story is about SHYAM KAPOOR (Rajpal Yadav) and a group of Struggling Actors & their never-ending struggle in the Bollywood film Industry. Shyam Kapoor has worked as an Assistant Director in many films. But now he wants to make his own film as the main Director after giving 15 years in the Industry. He knows that dreams come with conditions – bigger the dream, deeper the suffering. His even more difficult journey full of struggles has started now even though he has enough knowledge about film making by now & he is very talented & confident too but he also knows that it is not easy to establish oneself as an independent filmmaker especially when he is not from an affluent, rich, well-connected family. He knows that his first film as an independent filmmaker to prove his talent, will be a roller-coaster ride & he is prepared for the same & does everything possible from his side to realize his dream. He has written a film “tum he ho” & he is trying hard to find a producer who can invest money and produce his 1st film. But every Producer he approaches reacts in the same way with discouraging words like, 'you are new', 'you have no profile as the main Directo so we don't have faith in ur talent' etc. He faces constant rejections but he is strong enough to face them all without getting discouraged till he finds a Genuine Producer. Shyam Kapoor is not the only person who is facing rejection in this Industry. Every film director, artist, the technician who is an outsider & who is from a middle-class family & wants to start his or her career in the Bollywood film industry, faces never-ending rejections in spite of being good in their Art & Craft. From the outside, this industry looks very colorful & exciting with lots of fame, glamour, stardom, money but actually, the truth is too dark & sad. It's actually big bad Bollywood with unfulfilled dreams & very few moments of happiness. Four guys Veer (Pinel Babu), Akshay (Hemin Patel), Samrat (Swapnil Jharbade), Sanyam (Mayank Juneja) reach Mumbai from different parts of India to realize their dreams in Bollywood. They come with many dreams & hopes & are too excited to start their journey in Mumbai. Talent & always being ready to work hard to give their best is all they all have which they feel is enough for them to fulfill their dreams but the reality is too different. Never-ending struggle makes different people react differently, some are not able to take the pain and give up & some are ready to stoop down to any level to get the luxuries in life by taking short cuts & some have strong will power & believe in trying hard till they finally succeed, with their never-say-die attitude. AKSHAY SINGH (Hemin Patel) is a black belt champion in karate from M.P. He has come to Mumbai to try his luck in acting. As soon as he starts his struggle he realizes that being a black belt is not enough to become an actor. He needs proper acting classes, but he doesn't have enough money to even join acting classes so he starts accepting small acting jobs as a junior artist & blink & miss roles to survive in Mumbai. SAMRAT PANDEY (Swapnil Jharbade) too is from M.P. He is a mimicry artist & loves to mimic Sunny Deol & use to think that he can be a star in Bollywood to finally realize after 6 years of struggle in Mumbai that shouting is not acting 😄 SANYAM SINGH (Mayank Juneja) is from Punjab. He is a shameless, characterless Scammer guy who believes in making money by hook or by crook. He cooks up new stories, lies & takes sympathy from his friends and neighbors with his fake made up stories to get money from them unethically for surviving in Mumbai & is ready to stoop down at any level to lead a luxurious life coz he is one guy who believes in taking shortcuts & Mumbai's struggle has made him the way he is. VEER YADAV (Pinel Babu) is from U.P & has been struggling in Mumbai for 5 years. He is a mature sorted guy & a very good human being amongst his immature friends and is always there to support his friends & finds solace in helping others & making everyone happy around him. He is an ok actor but he has been a bit lucky compared to getting to do a few Ads & TV Serials as a character artist & part of the supporting cast & a rich girl Janhvi falls in love with him for the gentleman that he is. JANHVI THAKRAL (Maushmi Udeshi) is a pampered beautiful daughter of a rich Mumbai-based Business tycoon VIJENDRA THAKRAL (Ranjeet Bedi) and is single. She is like a kid at heart, plain hearted, simple & down to earth. Her father has always tried to fulfill every wish of hers. She is not someone who falls in love so easily and when she does she gives it all in a relationship. She was always looking for a guy who has a heart of Gold & it doesn't matter to her if that guy is rich or poor coz luxurious life is something that she has been living all her life so she doesn't run after money coz she has enough of her own anyways, being an only daughter & owner of huge wealth, inherited from her family from generations. When she meets Veer for the 1st time she asks him out for coffee. Veer only has Rs.500 in his wallet for his new shirt which he needs desperately but he still accepts her offer and goes for the coffee date. Their 1st coffee meeting is like real love in 1st meeting for both. They connect & vibe instantly & they talk their hearts out & they both find their soulmate in each other. Veer and his friends share a dingy Room in a small Chawl in a bad locality & are living a difficult life in Mumbai. One of Veer's friends Shresth (Alpesh Waghela) is in trouble and Veer offers him to stay with him and his friends in the small Chawl room that they share. Shrestha is from Gujrat. He has been struggling in Mumbai since the last 5 years. He acts in plays & loves theatre. He use to live in 4 bungalows mhada but bcoz of his room owner’s personal problem he had to leave that house & starts staying with Veer & his friends coz Veer is always ready to help his friends & anybody in need as he is a great human being. Sanyam is one cheap guy who is staying with his friends & getting free food since last 6 mths by cooking up stories and gaining sympathy plus he has the guts to misbehave with them too instead of being grateful & thankful for the help that his friends have offered him since so many months. He is so cheap that without thinking about his friends, toom partners he even misbehaves with the landlord and in return Landlord gives them all huge firing & tells them to vacate his house and all bcoz of Sanyam's bad behavior everyone has to suffer so Samrat tells Sanyam to leave immediately & egoistic Sanyam without even realizing his mistake or saying sorry picks his luggage and leaves their chawl room. Sanyam suddenly happens to meet a Gay guy Happy Singh who is rich enough to take care of Sanyam's monetary needs & in return wants a sexual relationship with Sanyam to which Sanyam agrees instantly coz Sanyam is one guy who hates to work hard and loves shortcuts. According to him, he doesn't need to work at all if he gets a luxurious life sitting at home with all his day to day expenses taken care of, to lead a luxurious comfortable life coz anyways he has zero talent and wants to just make money by hook or by crook so what better option than Happy entering his life. He is anyways always been ready to stoop down at any level to have a luxurious life without doing any work. Samrat is tired and bored of working as a junior artist in small Films, Ad Films, and TV Serials since many years. Now Samrat & Veer both decide to only take up work where they are offered lead & prominent strong roles or they will keep saying no to offers which are small & not up to the mark coz they are pretty confident about their talent & don't mind working harder to achieve their dreams. So now both are looking for lead roles only. Janhvi is trying to help Veer in various ways coz she is so much in love with him. She persuades her father to become a producer in the film industry so that she can launch Veer in the main lead role. Her Father agrees to invest in a Film but he goes and signs a well-known director from the film industry to make sure that he makes a good film but this Director doesn't want to work with newcomer Veer and wants a well-known Actor in the lead role which comes unexpectedly in front of both Veer & Janhvi in a meeting when Janhvi introduces Veer to her Dad & the Director that her Dad has signed is also present in that meeting. They tell Veer to do a small character role to which Veer straight away says no even though Janhvi tries to convince him that maybe he will get noticed in this supporting role and he will get bigger offers after this as this will be a well known Directors film but Veers decision doesn't change. Veer's struggle is on & Jhanvi's efforts could not help him in his career, unfortunately. He finally meets Director Shyam Kapoor through a common friend and around the same time Samrat meets Rehana. REHANA MIRZA (Amrita Dhanoa) is a known cheater scammer in the film industry. She cheats actors and producers in different ways and makes huge money & vanishes in the name of putting together a movie project. Rehana promises to make a fantastic film & goes to every extent possible to get money from Struggler Actors to make the film & she goes into a physical relationship and shows that she is emotionally involved too so that male actors and their producers (financers) believe in her completely but her main aim is to get money from them and run away with the money. She has no talent or interest in directing movies at all. She is a flabby woman & has a small dingy Office. Samrat meets Rehana in R.M film production Office & Samrat is her next victim, unfortunately. She gives a Script to Samrat to read. It's called 'Gehri Chaal' which is actually inspired by her own life. Rehana shows how badly her script needs Samrat as the lead hero so Samrat who is too happy that some Director finally sees talent in him & is happy to cast him in the lead role, makes her meet with a Financer who is ok with investing money & Producing his film if a Director is ready to cast him as the lead hero. Rehana after impressing Samrat manages to get 2.5 Crores from his Financer to make the film. Akshay gets a film by giving an audition, his co-actor is MEGHA SHARMA (Wiam Dahmani). She has done 4 to 5 films as the lead. Her main focus has always been her career and to get movies by hook or by crook and nothing else matters to her more than her career. Her boyfriends change as soon as the film shoot is over coz for her relationships are only physical and last till the film shoot lasts. She likes no strings attached relationships & is not interested in falling in love at all. Akshay meets her twice or thrice before the film shoot starts. He has one-sided affection for her. Rehana Mirza cheats Samrat and his Financer & vanishes to Pune with his Financers 2.5 Crores, plus puts Rape allegation on Samrat. For Samrat, being a sensitive innocent guy all this comes as a shock & he is unable to cope up with all this & commits suicide. Akshay’s film stops even before it starts. And he realizes that Megha is not in love with him & it was only one-sided love from his side. In the midst of his heartbreak, he gets this sad shocking news of their room partner & friend Samrat’s suicide. He finally takes a decision to go back home & pursue his martial arts, Karate & wants to live a peaceful secured life. Shyam Kapoor meets new Producer RAVI SHUKLA (Mukesh Bhatt) & they agree to work together on the film. Producer Ravi Shukla is from Lucknow, he hails from a political family and keeps boasting a lot about his contacts, his power, and money coz he has a bad habit of talking too much and he lacks tactfulness behavior. He is extremely stingy too and negotiates a lot in everything possible till the cheapest extent plus has zero patience which has always gone against him though he is quite plain hearted and frank to the extent of sounding insulting and sometimes hilarious too. In 1st meeting between Veer and Shyam Kapoor, even though they didn't discuss the script but Shyam instantly recognized the talent in Veer and saw him as the lead hero in his film & thought he was apt for the role. Shyam insisted Veer work for free for his film to which Veer agreed instantly. Now that they have found a Producer they start the film shoot by astrologically finding an auspicious day to do their Film Mahurat. The film is finally ready after shooting and post-production & it marks the Debut Launch of Shyam Kapoor as the main Director, Ravi Shukla as the Producer & Veer as the Lead Actor & now their new struggle to market, release & distribute their film starts by meeting N no of Distributers with their Film from one office to another. Most don't wanna release their film and some are demanding huge money for the release which they don't have. Impatient Ravi Shukla keeps arguing and fighting in every Distributer's office that they go and Shyam Kapoor somehow handles the matter with patience & calm mind. At last MEHBOOB KHAN (Pankaj Berry) after watching the film is ready to distribute their film. He appreciates Shyam for his talent & compliments him that he has made a blockbuster hit film. He organizes a Screening where all distributors are invited to watch the movie. Everyone who sees the film in the screening is too impressed & give their positive comments that this small film if released with decent promotions can be a threat to many big films which release on the same day & both Shyam Kapoor and Ravi Shukla breathe a sigh of relief & feel that finally, their struggle is over till some extent. So finally Shyam & Ravi reach distributer Mehboob's office to sign the film release agreement. But they get to know that Mehboob has suddenly changed his mind & is not ready to distribute this film because Top Film Production House Dakshraj has recently made a film on the same subject and which is about to release and now they are scared and can't let this Film release before Dakshraj's Film coz it will spoil market of their film and so they will make sure that they stop this film release. Since they have huge clout so nobody would go against Dakshraj Productions so Mehboob Khan explains to him that he is a small-time Distributer would never want to come in bad books of this huge Production House by releasing Shyam's film so he had to back out. Ravi as usual loses his calm & starts fighting and arguing with Meheboob Khan but Shyam handles the situation calmly & they finally leave Mehboob's office. Shyam Kapoor never lets his emotions show on his face. He is very good at hiding his feelings & doesn't let them come on his face so one can never understand the pain that he goes through. Shyam Kapoor's faith now is, even more, stronger in his film. After spending 15 yrs in the industry he has understood in and out of the psyche of the people here and he knows who is friends with whom and who is whose enemy and he knows exactly how to use an enemy for his own good and how to get his work done in best possible way. Shyam Kapoor shares his whole plan with Producer Shuklaji. He tells him that Dakshraj's all films are always released by White Angel Distributors & White Angel's Competitor Distribution Company is Blue Ocean. So they finally decide to approach Blue Ocean Co with their Film. Shyam's planning finally works and Blue Ocean finally agrees to Distribute Shyam's film. They are all ready to Sign the Contract the next day and when Shyam Kapoor calls Shuklaji for a meeting to Sign the Contract he refuses to sign the Contract & disconnects his call abruptly. Shyam gets to know the real reason for him doing this when he receives a Notice from Dakshraj Film Production. Shuklaji goes and does a Contract deal with Dakshraj before the release itself that he will get an assured profit amount from the release of the film but before the film shoot had started, Shuklaji signed a Contract with Shyam Kapoor too, that all Creativity & making of the film will be done by Shyam Kapoor & Shuklaji will put 100% amount to make the Film. If in between their opinions don't match and they want to part ways if they cannot agree further, then Shyam Kapoor will return the full money that Shuklaji has invested in making this Film within 30 days & by doing this Shyam Kapoor will become the sole owner of the film. And if Shyam Kapoor is not able to pay the full amount within 30 days to Shuklaji then Producer Shuklaji has authority to end the partnership between them by paying Shyam Kapoor's Direction Fees that they had agreed & he can do anything with the film as it will belong to Shuklaji then. Shyam Kapoor is trying to release this movie at any cost. Finally, Shyam decides to give power of attorney of this film to Veer. Now Veer has the authority to take every decision of this project on behalf of Shyam along with Shyam's lawyer. Veer gets shocked with this sudden decision by Shyam & when he asks him the reason Shyam hands over 1 Crore Rupees Cheque to Veer and tells him to give it to Shuklaji & he adds that he is going out of town and will take a few days to come back & tells him to stay in touch with his Lawyer. Finally, Film is released by Blue Ocean films in absence of Shyam Kapoor. Ravi Ji is very upset & full of regret about his decision coz the Film is a blockbuster hit. Shyam's phone is switched off & Veer is extremely worried. After 20 days of the film release, Janhvi throws a party to celebrate the success of Veers Film & to celebrate Veers Success as a talented Actor that he has proved to the World with this film coz Film is a Huge Hit. At this party suddenly Veer gets a call from Shyam. He informs Veer that he is admitted to a hospital in Bandra. Veer & his friends are extremely worried & they reach the hospital; we see Shyam in a stretcher. There they get to know from one of the Nurse that Shyam is left with only one kidney. Veer understands Shyam's sacrifice and is too touched. 1st question that Shyam asks Veer is 'How is the film doing?' He is happy to hear about the success of their film from Veer & is emotional & speechless. Shyam tells Veer that he donated One kidney to one of his friends & saved his life & borrowed 1 Crore rupee from him to release the film. He tells Veer that making a good film and releasing it in a big way was always his dream & this is a small sacrifice that he made to realize his dream. Even if he had to sell another part of his body, he would have sold happily to release this film. He always believed that the bigger the dream, the more difficult is the journey & the bigger is the sacrifice. Shyam Kapoor's hard work that he put in silently is finally paid off and today his success story is making the headlines of each and every Newspaper, Publication & trending all over Social Media with his getting 'Best Debut Director Award' for this Film.
