Classification of Colombian schools according to category, quality and international accreditation

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Classification of Colombian schools according to category, quality and international accreditation, better known as the Col-Sapiens Ranking, is an important ranking published by the consulting firm Sapiens Research Group, since 2013. It analyzes all the schools in Colombia, and only those that comply with the rigorous methodology applied by a team of experts are classified.

Objetive[edit]

The Col-Sapiens Ranking is focused on serving as a comparative measurement by merit to recognize the best schools in Colombia, as well as an efficient and reliable tool for those who are looking for quality schools with international projection.

Methodology[edit]

All the active schools in the country are analyzed but only those that comply with the following methodology are classified:

  1. The categorized schools in A + (according to the ICFES) in the immediately preceding two years of the publication year of the ranking results are selected.
  2. The selected schools are ranked in deciles (or categories, ranging from D10, the least high, to D1, the highest) according to the final results of an algorithm, in which the subject indexes of the 'Saber 11' exams of ICFES are used.[1].
  3. Is verified if each school is supported by any quality certification (or similar), or a current international accreditation. These achievements add scores so that they can also achieve some rating: from A, the least high, to AAA ++, the highest).[2]

Certificaciones y acreditaciones[edit]

There are 28 certifying and accrediting firms that are considered, several of which are also recognized by the Ministry of National Education.[3]

Results on the 2018 version[edit]
