Clean money movement

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Clean Money Movement began in the early 1980’s by like-minded individuals and groups such as the Threshold Foundation and the Social Ventures Network who were determined to transform money and business into forces for regenerating the world rather than destroying it.[1] Threshold Foundation members wanted to move beyond philanthropy into investing for profit capital in social good. In 1987, Josh Mailman, founder of Threshold Foundation started a second organisation, the Social Ventures Network (SVN) with Wayne Silby.[2] Forty entrepreneurs attended the founding meeting with a common goal to make money a force for good. In 2017, Joel Solomon, impact investor, published The Clean Money Revolution which details the origins of the Clean Money Movement.[3]
