Coco Bassey (born March 12, 1988) is a digital influencer and entrepreneur on the topics of fashion[1], beauty and digital marketing. She has collaborated with companies such as H&M, Michael Kors, Estée Lauder and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. She travels across the North America, Europe and Africa for brand campaigns and was featured in a nationwide Ralph Lauren Pink Polo campaign in 2018[2].
Early Life[edit]
Bassey was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and grew up in Ottawa, Canada; Prague, Czech Republic and Berlin, Germany, due to her parents' occupations as diplomats for the Nigerian government. She then attended college at Illinois Wesleyan University, where received her Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and German Language and literature. She then went on to attain a Master's Degree from Brandeis University in Global Communications. She launched her professional career in marketing, and started her blog in 2013.
Career[edit]
Bassey started her blog in 2013, called Millennielle, after taking interest in digital publications while job searching as a college graduate. Since starting her blog, she has executed collaborations with companies such as H&M, David Yurman, Michael Kors and Estée Lauder. In 2018, Bassey appeared in a digital campaign for Ralph Lauren Pink Polo[2], where she revealed her 2012 experience as a thyroid cancer survivor. She regularly attends New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.
Millennielle started off as a passion project to chronicle Bassey's daily outfits. It has since evolved into a fashion, beauty and lifestyle content network with thousands of viewers. Bassey recently started a YouTube channel, which contains fashion, beauty and behind the scenes vlog content for her followers. The website is run by her team with Bassey as Editor-in-Chief. Millennielle has been named a top Atlanta-based fashion and lifestyle publication by several media outlets including Coveteur[3] and Atlanta Magazine[4].

Bassey currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and spends time in New York City and Paris, France for work.
