Colbey Northcutt Daniels (born March 29, 1993) is an American martial artist from Katy, Texas. She has won numerous titles across various martial arts disciplines including karate, boxing, and jiu-jitsu.[1] Currently, she is signed to ONE Championship.[2]

Early Life[edit]

Northcutt began training in karate at the age of 7 under the guidance of her father, Mark Northcutt, a black belt in aikido and shuri-ryū karate.

She has competed in martial arts tournaments all throughout her life and has won a total of 79 World Titles, including the 2012 WKA Contact Fighting World Championship, the 2012 WKA Point Fighting World Championship, and the 2012 WKA Women’s Team Fighting World Championship.[3]

In addition to that, she was inducted into Black Belt Magazine’s Hall Of Fame as the 2009 Competitor of the Year.[4]

Northcutt attended college, where she studied communications and journalism. She earned her degree in December 2016.[5]

Currently, she holds a fourth-degree black belt in Kajukenbo, a third-degree black belt in taekwondo, and a purple belt in jiu-jitsu.[6]

Mixed Martial Arts[edit]

Northcutt made her amateur mixed martial arts debut on October 21, 2012. She defeated Jessica Martinez by rear-naked choke in the first round.[7]

Though she lost her next match, she won her next three including the Legacy FC Women’s Amateur Bantamweight Championship.[8]

Northcutt made her professional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on June 23, 2017 against Courtney King.[9] She lost by TKO in round two.[10]

On November 5, 2019, it was reported that Northcutt signed with ONE Championship. She will face Putri Padmi in Singapore on November 22, 2019.[11]

Personal Life[edit]

Northcutt is the daughter of Mark Northcutt and the older sister to mixed martial arts star and Karate World Champion Sage Northcutt.[12]

She is married to Raymond Daniels, the current Bellator Kickboxing Welterweight Champion.[13]
