Connect Hearing.[1] is an American hearing aid retailer based in Naperville, Illinois that specializes in providing hearing care consulting and solutions, including hearing aids and hearing aid accessories.

Company[edit]

Connect Hearing was established in January 2012 as a subsidiary of Sonova Holding AG, an internationally active hearing care solutions company based in Stäfa, Switzerland. Other subsidiaries of Sonova Holding include Phonak, Unitron, Hansaton, Advanced Bionics and AudioNova. Connect Hearing was created to become the operating entity for all U.S. retail operations.

Beginning in 2005 Sonova acquired multiple and various Hearing Health Care businesses and acted as the holding company for these acquired businesses. In 2012, Sonova began merging these legal entities into Connect Hearing, Inc. and contemporaneously started to build the corporate infrastructure to manage the business centrally via Connect Hearing, Inc. From 2012 through 2015, the corporate infrastructure was developed and integration work undertaken.

As of March 2017, five legal entities remained as separate companies, however, the management and operations of these companies is now centralized with all retail locations operating under the brand name "Connect Hearing."

In addition to housing over 150 centers in the continental U.S., Connect Hearing also has 121 operational locations throughout Canada[2], 134 operational clinics in Australia[3], and clinics in Mexico.

Partnership and Recognition[edit]

Connect Hearing has participated in partnerships with the Texas Rangers[4] and maintains a partnership with the American Automobile Association. Additionally, the organization was featured in Consumer Reports' online hearing aid buying guide for earning high marks in customer satisfaction[5], and recognized as one of Canada’s top employers for young people in 2017[6].
