Curve Fever Pro is a online multiplayer video game, developed by Hidden Monster Games. The game releases February 26th, 2018, on web browsers.[1][2]

Gameplay[edit]

Played from a top-down view, players control ships that emit permanent trails, which are used to cut off other players. Players can customise their ships with abilities that allow them to employ other defensive or offensive strategies. Abilities and ships are unlocked as the game progresses. Curve Fever Pro matches consist of multiple rounds.

Gamemodes[edit]

Since the release, some new game modes have been tried out by the developers. For example the Knock-out mode and the Deathmatch mode.

Knock-Out mode[edit]

Winning the first round gives the player temporary "Immunity" status, that keeps the player from getting "Knocked Out" of the match. Players who get eliminated first in a round, without having immunity status, get "Knocked Out" of the match. The last remaining player wins the match.[3][4][5][6]

Deathmatch/ FFA[edit]

Deathmatch is the current gamemode. The goal is to get as many points as you can. In the game are two ways to get points:

  • stay alive, because you get for every player, who fails before you, you get 2 points (maximum 10 points)
  • shooting or cutting off your opponents. For cutting off you get 7 points per kill and for shooting someone you get 10 points.

A game consists of six rounds. At the end, the player wins who has the biggest amount of points.[7]

Development[edit]

Curve Fever Pro was announced on February 1, 2018.[8][9] The game has been in development since Q1 2017.[10] Curve Fever Pro is the fourth game in the Curve Fever franchise.[11]
