DROVA

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

DROVA – is P2P game streaming platform. A type of cloud gaming, where remote computers for game execution represented by community of individuals. The actual game is stored, executed, and rendered on the remote computer station and the video results are streamed directly to a consumer’s computer over the internet. Critical difference from cloud gaming is that game is executed on actual PC and it is streamed on one-to-one basis.[1][2]

P2P cloudless gaming allows closing latency gap: remote computer could be located within one internet provider.

There are two key profiles on the platform.

  • Merchants. Merchants are powerful PC owners. They want to earn money leveraging the high-powered resources they have.
  • Players. Typically low-end laptop users, Players want to enjoy the game here and now, games that are often resource-demanding.

Both profiles just need network connectivity. Drova uses a smart matching algorithm to connect Players with the optimal PC Merchant for their desired game-play.

To make the gaming experience as smooth as possible have developed highly optimized network protocol called GREEN. It adds so little overhead that a gamer almost feels like he or she plays on their own computer. In partnership with professional gamers[3] developed great keyboard and mouse transmission, taking care of tons of details on how exactly the a gamer expects the mouse should work.

GREEN smartly chooses the best fit between player and the PC Merchant. Unlike the competition that mostly provides 60 fps, DROVA made a streaming solution that actually can pass 144 fps in real life conditions.[4][5]
