Durga Parsad Sharma is an Indian Professor known as DP Sharma (born on 1 May 1969). Currently he is appointed as honorary Expat Member of “International Advisory Doctoral Commission” Flemish University and Virje University under the International Education and Technical Program for stimulating research and technology capacities in developing country universities under “VLIR-UOS”, institutional university collaboration program by Flemish Universities of Flanders (Belgium). He was honored with numerous Indian and International awards and honorary degrees and awarded Peace Ambassador International Award in 2018, Godfrey Phillips National Bravery Awards in the category of social courage in 2001.
He is also appointed as a brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on 12 September 2017 by Prime Minister of India. He was also nominated as International Fellow of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT-Singapore) in 2012.

born in 1969 in a Dacoity infested Chambal ravines area in Samona village, district Dholpur Rajasthan, India. His early life was very struggle full because of his physical disability due to post-polio paralysis in right leg and left arm.
Research and Career[edit]
He completed his PhD [Intranet-wares], DB2 & WSAD-IBM USA, FFSFE-Germany, IACSIT- Singapore. In the memory of independent India’s first Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel “Sardar Ratna International Award for Lifetime Achievements in 2015, for the mind of steel in education and technology, the highest honor conferred by the Sardar Patel International Foundation, India for outstanding contributions in technical education and IT management domain.
