Da Survivor
Da Survivor is an 13 year old America YouTube comedian who posts comedy sketches as the characters Da Survivor, Evil Steve, and Ventrisherpo. In early 2018, Da Survivor started gaining attention on his YouTube channel at a fast pace.
Biography[edit]
Da Survivor Started doing YouTube in 2015 on a channel called "Crazy Droppers" which showcased him and his friends dropping eggs coated with various different substances like shaving cream, wiped cream, and oobleck from a hight of 4-6 feet. the purpose of the channel was to try and test which substances could keep the egg from cracking. unfortunately the channel failed due to the fact that "uploads were infrequent and the egg would always crack"[1]. Fortunately though, in making that channel Da Survivor learned that his videos were most appealing to younger audiences which was his main inspiration for his next channel.
On Sep 12, 2017 PlanetTuber[2] was created, which was Da Survivor's new channel. Based off of past tests with his old channel, Da Survivor tried to base his channel around a family friendly audience[3]. PlanetTuber takes place in the game Minecraft and is about a character names S1 (played by Da Survivor) who's plain crashes onto a jungle island. S1 then has to try and survive on the island with his new friend F5 (Played by DChatts) who has also been stranded on the island from a helicopter crash. together they try to create the perfect house for Da Survivor unfortunately every time they finish the house something destroys it again.[4] On Sep 28, 2017 the project is scraped and Da Survivor stops posting videos.[5]
A little over a week from the end of PlanetTuber comes a new channel, Da Survivor[6] joined on Sep 23, 2017 this channel was inspired by channels like dantdm and popularmmos. The Channel has Minecraft lets plays from Da Survivors point of view about him and his friends/sidekicks playing Minecraft survival mode. a few months after the creation of his channel, Da Survivor changed the way that he makes videos. He started making comedy sketches. from there his channel started to gain subscribers, likes, and vews.[7][8] He created villains like Shep, and Ventrisherpo, he also created heroes like Chez Man[9], and IDK to create a universe where everyone lives on his channel. And to this day the America YouTube comedian still makes comedy sketches on his main channel, Da Survivor.
