Biography

   Daniel "Dafran" Francesca is a notorious streamer on the platform Twitch . Dafran's popularity is seeded in his extraordinary gaming ability, initially developing off his professional Overwatch career. Prior to his internet stardom, Dafran was employed at McDonalds however this had changed once he was drafted by the professional team Selfless Gaming's. Dafran's professional career is that of an Overwatch all star, his first major tournament appearance was in the 2016 Overwatch World Cup representing team Denmark in qualifier rounds (Placing 13th-18th.) Afterwards Dafran joined Selfless Gaming to play among other recognizable players such as Jay "sinatraa" Won, Jeff "Emongg" Anderson, and Lee "Carpe" Jae-hyeok. Selfless Gaming participated in the Academy Overwatch Weekly, placing 3rd-4rd in weeks #37 and #38, and placed 1st weeks #39 and #40. Dafran continued foward placing first in both Rivalacde Weekly #1 North America and Rivalvade Weekly #2 North America. Although an exercised player, Dafran has has his share of drama within his leagues. Dafran threw in Overwatch Monthly Melee May 2017 and continued to throw on Overwatch ranked latter. As a result of his misbehavior, Blizzard banned Francesca from participating in professional tournaments and ranked competetive matches. He later announced that he had thrown the games in an attempt to "get out of playing" professional Overwatch, and that he had quit playing professionally. He mentioned that competing and scrimming had "made [him] very depressed and bored," Dafran went on hiatus with nobody knowing when and if he will return. As of 8/16/2018, Daniel "Dafran" Francesca is a daily streamer averaging 3,000 -5,000 views, playing popular games such as Overwatch and Realm Royale, playing under NRG Esports as a "full time streamer".
