Daniel Carden
Daniel Carden is a prominent member of the Young Labour National Committee and prospective Parliamentary candidate for Liverpool Wavertree.[1]
Daniel was born in Liverpool on 28th October 1986, the son of a city dock worker and nurse. He attended St. Edward's College, Liverpool, before reading International Relations at the London School of Economics.
He is a keen fan of horse racing, particularly flat racing, and once suggested that racing commentator John McCririck would make an excellent guest on the BBC political panel show Question Time[2]
In 2007 he stood for the position of Youth Representative to the Labour Party National Executive Committee, coming second to Stephanie Peacock.[3]
He has close links to Trades Unions and is a member of the Young Fabians.[4]
