Daniel Prastalo aka Dan J Prastalo (born June 20, 1980) is Security Specialist at DPS - TRU (Diplomatic Protective Services - Tactical Response Unit). He also serves as Coordinator & Advisor at International Police Organization.

He is known for 2014 Nairobi Bus Bombing and 2019 Nairobi DusitD2 complex attack, where he was together with Christian Craighead (SAS trooper) actively involved in rescue operation. In his career Dan has provided Close Protection Services to diplomats, executives and celebrities like Sir Richard Branson, Joe Gebia (founder of Airbnb), Andrew Liveris (CEO of Dow) Ben Affleck, Naomi Campbell and many more.

He is fluent in Slovenian, English, Serbian, Croatian and has basics knowledge of German, Swahili, Macedonian and Russian. He holds Black Belt in Karate & Nanbudo and is Instructor of DRT (Defense & Restraint Tactics). In 2009 was certified firearm instructor and achieved level of Weapons Specialist and Tactics.
