Daniele Claudio Taddei
Daniele Claudio Taddei (born January 25, 1960) is a Swiss architect. He was born and raised in Lugano, Ticino, coming from a long family tradition of architects, going back several generations, e.g. his grand parents Silvia Witmer-Ferri and Hans Witmer[1]. He studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. After finishing his studies, he worked with Giancarlo De Carlo in Milan, Italy and Behnisch & Partner in Stuttgart, Germany.
After working several years at Lee Architects in San Francisco, California, Daniele Claudio Taddei returned back to Switzerland. He started collaborating with Kuhn Fischer Partner Architekten[2], Zurich.
In 2000, he started his own office in Zurich: an international practice, following all aspects of contemporary architecture and urban design. Daniele Claudio Taddei practises mainly in residential and office buildings as well as in renovations.
His works are listed among world-renowned architects such as Gehry Partners, Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Santiago Calatrava, Philippe Starck, and others.[3]
