David Rabinowitz (screenwriter)
David Rabinowitz is an American screen writer[1] and a 91st Oscar Nominee for Best Adopted Screenplay, along with his co-author and friend, Charlie Wachtel, for BlacKkKlansman.[2] According to interviews, the two stumbled across the story and with no prior track record, went from a concept to an offer on their spec script in seven months.[3] With a production budget of $15M, BlackKkKlansman went on to gross $89M in the box office.[4]
David, a New Jersey native, graduated in 2009 from Quinnipiac University where he was a film, television, and arts major.[5]
