David Sobelman is an American real-estate advisor and net-lease investor.[1] He has established three companies, Verum Properties, 3 Properties and Generation Income Properties, and is the Chief Executive Officer of these companies. He has authored three book on net lease investments.
Career[edit]
Sobelman started his career by serving as a Member of The White House staff, and was subsequently appointed to work for the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.[2] In 2002, he was an analyst with Grubb & Ellis in Washington D.C.[3] In 2005, he was the Executive Vice-President of Calkain Company where he advised and managed triple net lease deals.[4]
In 2012, Sobelman started a private fund for the investment of net-leased properties and after three years, he opened a REIT under the name Generation Income Properties. It was the first REIT to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission to take advantage of Regulation A+, a 2015 SEC regulation that enables small companies to raise up to $50 million from the public.[5] He became the International Council of Shopping Center's net lease faculty in 2016.[6]
In 2017, Sobelman founded his net lease focused brokerage under the name 3 Properties. He focuses on office, industrial, and retail net leased transactions.[7][8]

Personal life and education[edit]
Sobelman was born in 1971 in Brooklyn, New York and resides in Tampa, Florida. David is a native of Sarasota, FL. He is married to Tanner Sobelman.
Sobelman graduated in 1996 from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a Bachelor's of Science and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Real Estate Management Program.[9]
