Death of Abhijeet Nath and Nilotpal Das

On 8th June, 2018, two youths from Guwahati, Assam, India, Abhijeet Nath and Nilotpal Das were beaten to death by a group of villagers in Karbi Anglong after they were mistakenly suspected to be child abductors. This created an widespread outrage in Assam.[1][2][3]
