Democratization of data

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Data democratization is the technological decentralization of access to data within a company and more specifically a technology division of a company -- usually a larger company. The concept is that making data accessible all the way to the edge of computing liberates IT employees and ultimately customers so they can have a simple, seamless digital experience.
