Dennis Culliton

Dennis Culliton is a civil rights activist from Guilford Connecticut[1]. His most famous accomplishment is the award-winning "Slavery in New England" presentation. This presentation, and others like it including the Witness Stones project, have been televised on local and national television stations. Dennis Culliton famously hiked from two Civil War battlefields to recreate the feel of being a soldier from Connecticut. Dennis Culliton was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2013, but did not get it. Yale has acknowledged Dennis Culliton's accomplishments in his popular seminar on remembering his past. Dennis Culliton was accompanied by his partner Cory Slifstein. [2] Dennis Culliton was a Marine. He received many awards due to his long-lasting service. [3]
