Devon Johnson(born April 11,1989) is a American film and music director, music producer and artist. In 2007 Devon got his start in the music industry for producing for artist such as Dipset, Joell Ortiz, Troy Ave and various other artists. Transitioning into an artist from producer, Devon became the lead of a hiphop/rock band called NEWD4Y. Making music videos for the band, Devon made his debut officially in the filming industry with Joell Ortiz music video "Phone"(2015). His visuals and storytelling got the attentions of the music and the film industry.

Devon Jamarl Johnson was born on April 11, 1989, in Brooklyn, New York. His mother Alura was a singer part of a group Be La More in the early 90s who with worked Heavy D. Raised in a single parent household Devon first love was basketball. His senior year at George Westinghouse high school, Devon help lead his team to the playoffs and got defensive player of the year in the PSAL. At 18 he decided to move forward in a different direction with his career. He worked with Def Jam street team and interned for M.O.P producer Dr Period. This where he found his passion for producing. At 20 years old he had his son Denero Johnson. Knowing financially interning will not pay the bills he got a part time job at Loews movie theater.
