Dhanraj Shelke Art (Marathi: धनराज सागर शेळके) (born 16th March 1994) is an Indian artist based in Kolhapur.[1] Being encouraged from a young age to be involved in hands-on activities including painting, drawing, and music. Dhanraj too quickly discovered his passion and expression through art. Dhanraj credits much of his work and success to date for the constant support from his family who continuously inspired his work, and encouraged to follow his dreams and to never give up. With a strong and rapidly growing social media presence, Dhanraj work was extended to Bollywood and Hollywood actors, Sports stars, leading business leaders, corporate world etc. He studied Graphics designing, Fine arts & Masters in Business administration. He works as a graphics designer, logo designer as well as portrait and landscape artist. Dhanraj enjoys traveling the world, finding new places, new inspiration in many new places he visited.
Early life and education[edit]
Dhanraj Shelke spent his childhood in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, in India. He graduated from bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune University (Maharashtra) in 2017 with a degree in Masters of business administration. He learned graphics designing from Kolhapur. He is a self-taught artist in fine arts. He is the son of Businessman Mr. Sagar V. Shelke and real great-grandson of Inventor and Artist Mr. Mahadevrao Mistari Shelke who hugely contributed by his invention of coal powered cars and truck engines etc at the time of World War II.
career[edit]
Artist Dhanraj Shelke had his first international solo show at Tokyo International Art Fair, world trade center Tokyo[2] He has exhibited in numerous group shows and solo exhibitions in India and abroad and he has often been invited as a guest artist[3] [4]. At present, he lives and works from Kolhapur, Pan India and internationally. Dhanraj has a signature style of making art in pure or compound gold artwork. He is a Versatile, Dedicated Artist to make ART and a very experienced artist i.e. painter with an experience of fine art & graphics designing for more than 11 years, he practice's art at a very professional level till this date. Dhanraj provides artwork nationally and internationally which includes portrait, landscape art as well as large art installations. He is also one of the largest art sellers in India.
