Dr. Don Morris

Dr. Don Morris is a member of the Cal Poly Athletic Hall of Fame, distinguished as being the most valuable individuals of the past and present for his athletic achievements throughout the years.[1] In 2001 Don was also honored by Cal Poly's Alumni Association as an Honored Alumni,[2] also serving as a board member of the Cal Poly Alumni Association. He was also the Personnel Director, Housing Director, Dean of Extended Education and is a Professor Emeritus of Cal Poly.[3] Dr. Morris has notable achievements as a senior competitor, winning gold medals for basketball related events at the Nevada Senior Games[4] and the California Senior Olympics Association,[5] and also serves as the board of directors for the latter.

Education[edit]

In 1952, he received a masters in education from CalPoly.[6] Dr. Morris received his Ph.D.mfrom UCLA[7] in Higher Education.[8]
