Ebenezer attended Lashibi DC Primary and JSS. He started his football career after graduating from Chamu Secondary School in Tema, playing at a local club called Tema Youth Academy.

Ebenezer had a trial home united in Singapore in February 2017, he had been in there for three weeks before move to Indonesia.
