Ed Cerrone was a notable (yet inexperienced) candidate for the 2002 New Orleans Mayoral Election. He received very few votes, despite the fact that he was beloved and treasured by all. After the results of the election, many claimed Cerrone was "robbed", and foul play was suspected. A lawyer at the time, after his loss he pursued a career in education. He has three beautiful children, and his other daughter, Sophia (she was probably the reason he lost, even though she had not yet been born, and wouldn't be born until around 2007?). Reasons for Loss

It's unclear why he lost exactly. Parties close to Cerrone claimed it was because he "had no plan for what he would actually do as mayor". Others claim that his candidacy was merely a political statement, as Cerrone has stated, on record, that he believes in total anarchy. This is demonstrated by the fact that he dresses as a pirate every year for Halloween. Every single year.

Future Plans

While Cerrone has never outright stated his desire to run for Mayor again, his supporters believe this loss was only a minor setback in his political career. Many hope that he will one day run again.
