Emy Hetari a Yemeni singer, songwriter and dubbing artist of her own kind emerged to life on the 6th of December 1990, Aden Yemeni. Emy was brought up in a Yemeni traditional family. All the way through her childhood, Emy showed an intensive interest in music and her family helped her to grew her talents and sharpen her skills.
Evolution of Emy’s talent
Emy's years at college and university gave her motivation and drive to ameliorate her musical skills. It was during this time she put together performance, composition and her love for noble art. She moved forward to write her own lyrics with the help of her soulmate friend and songwriter Angham Adnan giving rise to fully crafted songs. Drawing a smile on the faces of her listeners is what makes her feel happy. "When my voice reaches people, I feel incredibly happy and I can not explain how happy I am with this thing," she says.
Breakthrough and success
Emy succeed to introduce herself to the audience through a number of singles and dubbed anime songs. Her works received huge success and were watched over 150 million times on youtube. Afterward she began working on her mini album entitled " Life is Hope " with 4 songs, was released on January 2017. Emy recently released her second album "Sukkr", accompanied by a follow-up of half a million followers on her official youtube channel. She also had her first private concert in Baghdad, after previous participation in festivals between Aden and Baghdad.
