Playing Career[edit]

High School[edit]

During 2011 and 2012, Udahl scored 20 goals and collected 17 assists in 49 games under coaching of Shawn McEachern at the Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts. Udahl "left the prep school ranks to join the Boston Advantage Full-Season midget program", located in Hingham, Massachusetts.[1] Udahl scored 93 points in 77 games for the advantage. He ranked 10th overall in Tier 1 Elite Hockey League scoring in 2013[2], and 15th in 2014.[3]

Junior[edit]

After graduating high school, Udahl opted to play in the British Columbia Hockey League for the Langley Rivermen, in Vancouver, BC.[4] In his rookie season, he dressed for 48 games, scoring 9 goals and 10 assists. Udahl started the 2016 season as a member of the Coquitlam Express. During Christmas break, he accepted an offer from Boston University and enrolled for the second semester.[5] He did not dress for any contests. [6]

Udahl returned to the Coquitlam Express for the 2017 season. He appeared in 11 games, scoring 3 goals and 6 assists. Head coach, Barry Wolfe noted that Udahl "faced a lot of adversity in the last 16 months in his career, with a season ending injury, and has found a way to put it all behind him and move forward." [7] Udahl then accepted an offer to attend Salve Regina University.

College[edit]

As a freshman, Udahl scored 14 goals and 9 assists for the Salve Regina University Seahawks. He has seven multipoint games and contributed to the Seahawks NCAA National Championship run.[8] On March 23, 2018,[9] Udahl scored twice in a 3-0 win over Wisconsin Stevens Point in the semifinal of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. Udahl was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team. Udahl finished his career at Salve Regina with 31 goals and 18 assists, while maintaining a +24 rating.[10]
