Ethan D. Becker (born December 21, 1998) is an American newspaper journalist. Currently, he works for the Waseca County News, and his work has previously on the Fansided Network and NBA 24/7.
Early Career[edit]
Fansided[edit]
Becker began his career as a sports writer for the website Sir Charles in Charge, a part of the Fansided network, in January of 2019 while still in college. Soon, he'd leave Sir Charles in Charge to join the team at Hoops Habit, Fansided's largest NBA site, in June of that same year. While at Hoops Habit, Becker was mostly a Minnesota Timberwolves beat writer, however he occasionally wrote about the NBA in general.
In September of 2019, Becker began working as the Site Expert for Beale Street Bears, a Fansided site dedicated to the Memphis Grizzlies, as well as continuing to write for Hoops Habit. In September of 2020, Becker released a statement on Twitter announcing that he would be stepping away from Fansided entirely, citing the growing time commitment that work was becoming.
While taking a few months to embark on some personal projects, Becker would ultimately return to Hoops Habit in November of 2020, which he would announce on Twitter.
Waseca County News[edit]
Becker would stay with Hoops Habit until March of 2022, where he announced that he had been hired as the local reporter for the Waseca County News based out of Waseca, MN.
