Ezekiel Clark or known as Zeke Clark,[note 1] is an American professional tennis player. He has a career high ATP singles ranking of No.693, achieved on 17 February 2020. He also has a career high doubles ranking of No.1022, achieved on 15 November 2021. Clark has not made it to the top 1000 rankings in doubles as of 15 November 2021.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Clark was born on 19 July 1998, to parents Toby and Julie Clark. Clark has started playing tennis at age 3, with his interest in tennis was seen when he attended Riverfield Country Day High School. He went on to play college tennis for Illinois Athletics as a senior.[note 2]

Tennis career[edit]

He started playing college (and professional) tennis beginning from 2015,[2] with Clark scoring a college-career high singles ranking of No.3 and a doubles ranking of No.1. Clark made several key upsets, including a win over No.1 USC.[3] In 2016 and 2017 at the ITF tour, he was defeated by future stars Tennys Sandgren, Reilly Opelka, Corentin Moutet, Marcos Giron, and Tommy Paul.[4][5]He also debuted for the ATP rankings, reaching his career high ATP ranking of 693 in February 2020, almost a month before the Covid-19 shutdown.[6] Clark currently resides in his hometown, Tulsa, Oklahoma. As of 15 November 2021, Clark currently has no Challenger, ATP, or ITF futures titles. However, Clark has played in various Challenger and ITF futures titles, incuding reaching a final at M25 Norman, where he lost to Mark Whitehouse.
