Julie goes to a theater camp reunion at Camp Footlights, where she will get the chance to challenge her fears, live out her dreams and finally take the stage.

Development[edit]
On April 12, 2018, STX Films acquired Sid Karger musical script with Greg Silverman producing the film.[1] On April 30, 2019, Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein will direct the film.[2] There have been no further developments as of March 2020.
Casting[edit]
On April 12, 2018, Kristen Bell was cast in the film.[1] On April 30, 2019, Jennifer Garner replaced Bell.[2]
