Felmers O. Chaney

Felmers O. Chaney (born 1918, Spooner, WI) was a police officer, civil rights activist, and community leader in Milwaukee, WI.[1]
Early life[edit]
Chaney was the first Black student to graduate from Spooner High School.[2] After initially being turned-down for enlistment, he served as an officer in World War II from 1939 to 1943.
