Based in Houston, TX, FireDisc® is a manufacturer of portable propane cookers and a full line of corresponding accessories for the outdoorsman. About FireDisc® Influenced by plow disc cookers from past generations, FireDisc® is an extremely well-built, high-performance cooking device designed for outdoorsmen. It offers maximum portability and cooking versatility but with minimum effort. The entire FireDisc® system consists of two stand sections that nest together without tools or hardware plus the disc itself, which sets onto the stand. It takes mere seconds to assemble or disassemble, and the three pieces lay flat for easy transport or storage. FireDisc® ’s heavy-duty, powder coated, high-polished, tempered ultra-high carbon steel construction (disc and stand) ensures the FireDisc® will last and provide versatile cooking performance for generations. Texas-based brothers, Hunter and Griff Jaggard, both avid outdoorsmen, were frustrated with the lack of adequate methods to cook up delicious meals for large groups in the outdoors. Hunter Jaggard graduated from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Communications and fine arts. Griff Jaggard graduated from Texas Tech University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree Corporate Communications

Hunter, an avid angler and outdoorsman, started his career in the technology sales field with Dell computer in Austin, TX in early 2000. In 2003 he transitioned to selling commercial real estate in Houston, TX where he spent 17 years focused on land and investment sale retail properties throughout the country brokering over $500 million in transactions with companies including MSGJM+ Co, the Stan Johnson Company and Avison Young, before founding FireDisc® cookers in 2010

Griff Jaggard, also an avid outdoorsman also began his career in real estate with a focus on office leasing. In 2004, Griff spent his early career at Lincoln Property company and then in 2007 transitioned over to Moody Rambin where he was responsible for leasing over 3 million square feet in the CBD and suburban markets of the Greater Houston Area. Griff executed over 950 leases in excess of $11 Million in lease transactions before resigning to start FireDisc® Cookers in 2010.

FireDisc® has two height options, 36” and 24”, comes in Fireman Red or Jet Black and with a deep or shallow pan. Each disc has a 22-inch cooking surface, providing ample area to cook virtually any food and lots of it. The disc has three temperature zones, allowing one to cook veggies and meat at the same time or keep some food warm while other food cooks. Philanthropy FireDisc® and its owners, supports many philanthropic endeavors, with the option to donate direct to multiple charities on their website. In 2017, FireDisc® donated 100% of the proceeds of sales of a special bundle to Operation BBQ Relief [5] post Hurricane Harvey in Houston and Hurricane Irma in Florida. FireDisc® is a brand built on character, family principles and giving back. Prior to their launch the founders formed a non-profit to raise money and find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. To date $1M has been raised via "MS 150 Carney Men" Bike MS team in which 100% when directly to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Community involvement is the core of the FireDisc® ® brand.
